10 Ways To Stop Procrastinating!

Hi guys!

So, I've been procrastinating with a lot of things lately, including posting a "December Favourites" post (although to be honest there were some personal matters that distracted me as well) which is still under development. But, in view of the fact that I had planned to post something today, I decided to go for a quick and ready to use idea and basically republish a small part of a much longer post that I had written many months ago. I had long thought that it was too long to read and that my readers would probably get too bored to finish it, so I had wanted to break it down and republish this part for quite a while. I guess this was the perfect time as I was also inspired by my own procrastination habit.

The following guide is part of my post "All About Procrastination", that I had written way back in May 2015, which also included a brief description of procrastination, a list of reasons behind developing the habit and my personal experience dealing with procrastination. If you want to learn more about procrastination and about how it affected my personal life, I highly recommend that you give it a quick read.

12 Ways To Feel More Festive!

Hi guys!

It's hard to believe that there are only 9 days left until Christmas! I must confess I'm really excited, which is why I made the decision to write a Christmas-themed post for you this time.
Whether you want to celebrate Christmas to the fullest, or to make the Christmas holidays more memorable and exciting for your family and friends, it is my task to do my best to help you get inspired and lift your Christmas spirit this year.

Here are a few ideas that might help you feel a bit more festive:

1. Decorate your house with Christmas decorations: The most obvious way to feel more festive is to make your house look more festive. I personally love decorating the Christmas tree in my living room and placing fairy lights and scented candles all over the place. Christmas decorations brighten up the room, giving it a more cozy and festive feel. A personal suggestion of mine is to place an additional small Christmas tree in your bedroom to get you in a more positive mood when you wake up in the morning. Also, placing fairy lights on your wall or bed frame can give your bedroom a more magical feel at night.

Guinea Pigs Update & Care Tips!

Hi guys!

So, with the start of my college classes it has been quite difficult to gather my thoughts on writing a new post. From now on my schedule is most likely going to be insanely full. Considering that blogging has turned out to be a very challenging task so far, I imagine that things are about to get even more difficult for me. Even so, I will give it my best (as always) to keep posting interesting articles as frequently as possible. It might be about time to make a "blogging schedule"...

So, I thought that for today's post I could write an update on the guinea pigs and how they're doing, since the last time I wrote about them was in their introduction post, 6 months ago.

First of all, I think it's about time I announced some very sad news.

On August 23, 2 months ago, my beautiful guinea pig Cairo sadly passed away while we were on vacation. I don't want to share many details of how it happened because it was an awful and traumatic experience and I get very upset thinking about it (I'm literally tearing up right now). His death was due to over-heating (heat-stroke), which makes me feel completely irresponsible as a pet owner, because I should have taken better care of him. I tried everything I could think of to save him -we had no access to a vet (let alone a vet experienced in treating exotic animals)-, but unfortunately there was nothing I could do for him.

40 Fun Questions To Ask!

Hi guys!

Before I move on to the main topic of this post I'd like to apologize for not writing anything for over 2 weeks. I know I have very few supporters and therefore not many people to disappoint, but they consist of my closest friends and so it is important to me to keep writing interesting things for them to read. Their support matters to me and I want to write as much as I can to show them that. I promise I will try to post more frequently.

I apologize for the wait and I want to express my thanks for taking the time to read this post.

So, we all get these moments when we're having a conversation with someone and suddenly run out of things to say. I'm almost certain that you have also found yourself at least once in a situation where you're trying to get to know another person better, but you've already asked all the basic and common questions you could think of.

In order to deal with this problem I have done a lot of research to gather a list of fun questions that will come in handy when you are trying to keep a conversation going. They can be very useful as they will allow you to find out more about someone's past, personality and way of thinking. For example by getting to know them better you will determine if they are imaginative, fun and talkative, if they are honest and open about their past and whether your interests align or not.

All about Procrastination.

Hi guys!

First off, I want to wish "Happy Mother's Day" to all mothers across the world! We (your children) love you and we thank you for bringing us into this world and for all the care, guidance and protection that you have provided us with throughout our lives.

So, a lot of things have been happening in my life lately and as a result I haven't posted anything in a really long time.

However, I have to admit that these past few days I had a lot of free time in my hands that I didn't fully take advantage of. And if there are 2 things you should know about me (that make a lot of sense judging from the previous statement): 1. I'm terrible at time management and 2. I tend to procrastinate... a lot.

Today's post is meant to inform you about everything you need to know about "procrastination", which is an issue that people nowadays are becoming increasingly concerned with. I am aware that it is very long, but I made a lot of effort analyze the topic as much as I could, so please read it if you have the time.

How to make your birthday awesome!

Hi guys!

My birthday is about a week away and so I decided that this post should be about ways in which one can enjoy this special day as much as he/she can.
The reason why birthdays are so great is because they're the one day of the year when everything can be about you. You can get people to do anything you want, annoy them as much as you can and still get presents in return. Birthdays can be a perfect excuse to act like a queen or a dark lord and treat everyone as your personal slave. Not to mention you can get away with almost anything (Please refrain from murdering anybody though).

But for me, birthdays are not supposed to only be celebrated for the sake of your personal happiness (by making everybody else miserable), but they're also an occasion for making everyone around you just as happy as you. Your birthday is a day to show your appreciation to:
your parents, who brought you into this world and raised you into the wonderful person you are today.
your siblings, who fought with you almost every day, but also made your life more interesting and eventful.
your friends, who accepted you the way you are and stood by you when you faced difficult times.
your boyfriend/girlfriend, who made you feel special and loved and made your world a brighter place with just a smile.
...and well, the rest of the family who sent you a lot of money this year.

So, anyway, without further ado, here is a list of things that will make your birthday more awesome!

40 Fun Things To Do!

Hi guys!

I know, I've been gone for sooo long! My last post was 6 months ago! Even though I had promised myself I would try to commit to this blog and keep posting frequently over a long period of time, a lot of things got in the way. Mostly procrastination, family matters, relationship matters... studying... pffft! Yeah, right! (ok, but in all seriousness, college is quite demanding when it comes to studying, you know.)

Well, the important thing is that I'm back. :)

And since my boyfriend recently initiated a new project and is planning to start making youtube videos with a friend, I thought that I should have something equally creative to spend a part my time doing as well. Who knows, maybe I'll end up making videos too someday. If I'm not too lazy and bored, that is.

Speaking of boredom...this post's purpose is to introduce a few ways to deal with boredom as it is a devastating disease that keeps spreading and concerns all of us!
